Modulated (AM) IRIG Time Output
The converter delivers an Amplitude Modulated (AM) IRIG output through a BNC connector. This output is calibrated to be accurate to within a remarkable <20 microseconds from the UTC time reference in worst case (depending on the accuracy of the Time Server and the network delay between the NTP time server and NTP client). The AM IRIG signal is a widely accepted standard for transmitting time information and is compatible with a variety of systems that adhere to the IRIG standards.
